Oh hi 🖤

Hi friends! My name is Karisma (it's pronounced like this: kærɪzmə). Welcome to Train of Thought. Having recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in English, I thought I'd create a space where I can express my bookish thoughts. Books and writing have provided me with an immense amount of comfort and escape over the years.

I started this blog in July 2022 and it has been a consistent source of love and escape for me. In January 2023, I branched out onto Instagram (you can follow me here). Since then, my readership has grown. I've connected with so many of my readers, not only by names but by experiences. ​​I'm incredibly proud of the community we've established together over the years and can hardly believe how long some of you have taken residency. Storytelling will always be my favourite means of communicating and metaphors will always be my favourite way of addressing life's ups and downs. If you're reading this, I imagine you feel the same way.
